Short Book Reviews

Blasphemy by Douglas Preston

The author includes "Note on the Paperback Edition" after the novel ends, which was needed. It wraps up the author's goal and answered important questions. Otherwise, after I was finished reading the story, I was a bit confused and the end left a little wanting. Overall, this novel reminds me of Oryx and Crake; by Margaret Atwood, in terms of deception, surprise, and logical sequence of events, which I liked.
